Remembering Ol’ Mike’s Last Broadcast

From September of 1964 until June 4, 1999, “Ol’ Mike” Oatman held down the morning show on KFDI AM and FM, in addition to being station manager, CEO and co-owner of Great Empire Broadcasting with partner F.F. Mike Lynch. His final morning show turned into a tribute to his career, with a parade of well-wishers that included family, friends, staff, advertisers, civic officials, and country artists.
