SummitMedia Louisville Hosts Annual “Bikes or Bust”

SummitMedia’s Q 103.1 in Louisville just wrapped up its annual bicycle drive, “Bikes or Bust”. This year, Bikes or Bust collected 2,123 Bikes.

Since its inception five years ago, Bikes or Bust has collected over 10,000 bikes for kids throughout Kentuckiana. Donations come from listeners, businesses, and included a special donation this year from Country Music Star, Justin Moore. All bikes collected in Louisville will go to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots, and each bike collected in Indiana will go to the Salvation Army of Southern Indiana. They will then be distributed to families in need this Christmas.

Q103.1 Morning Show Host Gator said, “I can’t believe how many people stepped up to give in a year that has been so hard for so many. It is truly inspiring to see how many people care about giving a child a good Christmas”.

Gator has been living on scissor lift for five days at the UAW Local 862 Union Hall to raise awareness for the cause while Southern Indiana’s own Magic Mike has been doing the same at Coyle Chevrolet.
