Chadwick “A.J.” Hausknecht

Chadwick “A.J.” Hausknecht is Senior Vice President of Programming for Top 40, Hot AC and AC at SummitMedia, where he leads programming strategy for stations in the company’s Knoxville, Louisville, Omaha, Richmond and Springfield markets. He works closely with market leaders and program directors to build brands, grow audiences and strengthen performance across those formats.

Hausknecht brings more than two decades of broadcasting experience. He joined SummitMedia in 2024 after 12 years with iHeartMedia, most recently as Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for the Carolina Metro, where he led programming for 28 radio brands across five markets. Earlier in his career, he held Program Director roles for Top 40, AC and rhythmic stations, as well as senior programming leadership roles in Richmond and Norfolk, Virginia, and the St. Louis region.

Known for his strategic approach to programming, Hausknecht has a track record of building audiences, strengthening radio brands and developing revenue opportunities.
