East Tennessee Children’s Hospital

East Tennessee Children’s Hospital—they are our partner, our family, our friends, and an incredible part of the Knoxville Community in that they take care of our kids every day. We have partnered with them for over 20 years with events like Radiothon and Dancing with the Knoxville Stars. We have raised millions of dollars for this incredible Hospital and yes, they give back to us. They spend more with our group than any other group in the Market. We do all of their digital advertising as well and have helped them build their Pediatric Office clientele and NICU Partnership with Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. They are also our STAR 102.1 Studio Sponsor, which is a perfect fit for our station and sounds amazing on air. We are getting ready to hopefully partner again with them this year for Radio for Kids Day—this day generates money for ETCH, but also for the stations. We raised about $50,000 in sponsorship dollars in 2020 ($25,000 to the station for December and $25,000 for the hospital) even though the event had to be moved 3 times due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was just a great event that the sales reps loved selling, the clients loved buying, it sounded great on the air, and it raised money for the Hospital. A win for everyone involved!
