Sales Operations Analyst

SummitMedia, LLC, a multimedia company with broadcasting, digital, and event brands across multiple markets is expanding our team! We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Analyst to be based in our corporate office in Birmingham, AL. 

Our Sales Operations team works closely with our markets to create tools, best practices, and processes in order to drive sales and revenue. The Sales Operations Analyst proactively collaborates with sales and leadership, all with the goal of developing sophisticated advertising solutions for our clients. The right individual will have experience in revenue forecasting, inventory and sales order management, analytical reporting, and support interaction including internal/external communication.

What You’ll Bring:

·        2+ years of Sales Operations experience. Exposure to media/marketing preferred

·        Proven analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving abilities

·        Experience analyzing data/metrics and facilitating timely reporting

·        Experience building positive internal team relationships and driving collaboration

·        Strong CRM and Microsoft Applications Suite capabilities

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Logistics, or equivalent

What You’ll Do (primary responsibilities):

·        Collaborate with our advertising sales teams to develop and refine weekly sales plans

·        Actively engage in improving the tools and processes used by the sales teams

·        Develop and build recurring reports to be used by management to help streamline the sales process

·        Provide analysis on business development and monitor performance across various markets

·        Support day-to-day inquiries from sales management, providing efficient resolution of issues

·        Document processes and best practices to be shared and communicated with management and other key team members

·        Provide recommendations for reporting improvements

·        Actively participate in collaborative conversations involving strategic thinking and planning
