“AccesSurf is a small non-profit that provides free accessible beach and adaptive water sports programs for people with disabilities. Our programs create an inclusive community by empowering people with disabilities through social interaction and the benefits outdoor activity. As a non-profit we rely on the support of our community and local businesses and having the support of SummitMedia with their media reach has made an incredible impact for our organization and the people we serve. Through their PSA’s and interviews we have been able to share about our mission to much larger audience. Their reach has brought many new participants, volunteers and donors to our organization. We proudly promote that Summit Media as one of our main supporters through all of our communications including website (64,000 annual views), email newsletter (7K data base) and social media channels (17k+ followers) as well as our special event press releases. In addition to the value of the exposure SummitMedia provides for AccesSurf, having a reputable partner such as SummitMedia has also provided an element of recognition to the quality of our programs. SummitMedia takes their support to the next level with their personnel individual support including the President for the Hawai’i stations, Andrew Rosen. Andrew served for years as our Board of Directors President. His dedication and passion for our mission helped to create a solid foundation for our organization for years to come.
