Patti Ponimoi

Patti Ponimoi is Market President of SummitMedia Hawaiʻi, where she leads the company’s broadcast, digital, marketing and business operations in the market. She is recognized for her strategic leadership, her relationship building and her ability to develop high-performing teams.

Ponimoi brings more than 20 years of media experience. Since joining SummitMedia in 2017, she has played a pivotal role in rebuilding the reputation and market presence of its Hawaiʻi radio stations, strengthening their competitive position and establishing a culture of excellence, accountability and collaboration. Her career also includes leadership and communications roles with Hawaiʻi News Now, iHeartMedia and Hawaiian Airlines.

Raised in Hawaiʻi, Ponimoi leads with the Islands’ values of aloha, integrity and kuleana, and she believes meaningful success is built through authentic relationships and investing in people. She serves on the board of the American Lung Association and supports initiatives that strengthen Hawaiʻi’s communities.
