Overview: SummitMedia LLC is looking for our next Midday On-Air Personality for WQNU-FM. This position will work directly with the Operations Manager.
Strong time management and organizational skills are a must. All employees are expected to have a positive attitude in the workplace and be cheerful, cooperative, and productive. This position may be asked to perform other duties – as needed – for the effective operation of the station. Qualified applicants must have two years of prior radio experience, proficiency with computer programs, and basic knowledge of Adobe Audition. You must be a team player, self-motivated, and have strong attention to detail.
Details + Qualifications:
§ Minimum of 2 years of experience as an on-air talent (PPM experience is a plus)
§ Ability to create and communicate compelling and entertaining content, and have an engaging presence in front of a crowd
§ Strong social media skills & technical proficiency
§ Exceptional production and digital editing skills
§ Ability to communicate in an authentic way
§ Problem solving skills, with sound judgement and excellent decision-making skills
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
§ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to hit deadlines
