Promotions Director- Greenville

SummitMedia Greenville currently has an opening for a Promotion Director. This position is responsible for the development and execution of all station promotions; community service efforts and assist in the development of station event marketing opportunities as well as enhancing station image and visibility within the community that will attract new listeners and clients; develop revenue generating promotions that cross promote clients, third parties and the radio station. Seeks out opportunities to be in front of targeted audience daily. This position is social media savvy and also responsible for implementing marketing efforts at the local level and assisting with the functions of on-air, on-site and on-line promotions.  

The ideal candidate must be organized, dependable, self-motivated, energetic and extremely detail oriented. A professional appearance, friendly demeanor and clean driving record is required. Ideal candidate is also proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, as well as extremely comfortable conversing with the public in an easy and outgoing manner. Prior promotion or event marketing experience helpful. The candidate must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
