KFDI Morning Co-Host - Wichita

SummitMedia Wichita’s KFDI is looking for a morning co-host. Someone who is wrapped up in the Country music lifestyle. Must be driven to dive into the community and make a difference. Must understand how to create digital content and be active on a wide variety of social media platforms. If you are positive, fun loving individual, understand how to create great content, share stories that connect with an audience on an emotional level, we want to talk to you. It is a great opportunity to wake up long before the sun and brighten the day of Wichitans.

Responsibilities include: Execute all aspects of a Country morning show (running the control board, screening and editing phone calls on the fly, creating interesting content through the prep process, and commercial production, community appearances. Continue the conversation using your daily content on social media and on kfdi.com. You are a station ambassador and will represent the station at many events public and private. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to stay in control in a fast-paced environment and work well with a diverse team. Set the bar high and be a champion to others in the hallways. Minimum 3-5 years full time on-air experience; Excellent communication and speaking skills. Understanding of FCC policies and practices. Proficiency with audio and video editing software in addition to various industry productivity and workflow apps.
