Assistant Program Director/Music Director for WQNU and air-personality for either WQNU or WVEZ. This person will work directly with the Operations Manager to plan and execute the day-to-day programming of WQNU; to include but not limited to, music scheduling, library maintenance, copy writing for imaging and talent coaching. They will also build and maintain relationships with the country music industry in effort to maintain QNU’s competitive edge and maximize brand building and revenue generating opportunities. A daily airshift will be required with this position.
Strong time management and organizational skills are a must. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative, and productive. May be asked to perform others duties – as needed – for the effective operation of the stations. You must have prior radio experience and proficiency with computer programs and basic knowledge of Adobe Audition and Maestro. You must be a team player, self-motivated, with attention to detail. Attendance/Punctuality is a must.
