SummitMedia Birmingham Hosts Tornado Relief Drive

SummitMedia Birmingham hosted a successful tornado relief drive after an EF-3 tore through local communities late Monday night leaving one person killed, at least 30 injured, and hundreds without homes and power.

The Birmingham cluster jumped into action just hours after the tornado struck and filled 2 cargo vans, 1 moving truck, and a 10’ trailer and truck outside of a local Wal-Mart.

The successful effort is credited to the each station’s loyal listeners and their willingness to help their neighbors in need.

All items were delivered to city hall for residents in need this morning.

Great work Birmingham!
