Birmingham, AL. (May 11, 2023)—SummitMedia llc.hosts the Minority Business Awards tonight at The Club with special keynote speaker, Larry Thornton – Birmingham based entrepreneur and businessman.
This will be the 17th year the Minority Business Awards celebrates the spirit, creativity, and resourcefulness of Birmingham’s best minority leadership. In addition, the event is a powerful networking tool and a way to recognize the passion, innovation, and ingenuity of Birmingham Alabama’s brightest minority leaders!
The Minority Business Awards features eight categories in where nominees will be showcased and given awards for their continued work and talents they bring to our area:
Academic Leader of the Year presented by Spire Energy
Diversity & Inclusion Leader of the Year presented by Cricket
Entrepreneur of the Year presented by Birmingham Urban League and MasterCard
Executive Leader of the Year of the Year presented by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office
Medical Leader of the Year presented by Legacy of Hope
Non-Profit Leader of the Year presented by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office
Small Business of the Year presented by Mi Pueblo Markets
Young Professional of the Year presented by Renasant Bank
